Take a nice drive up the coast to Liverpool for the night
Had not counted on landing in Yarmouth at 3:30, and therefore didn't have as much time to linger along the coast. Drove Highway 103 for a good distance to save time. Route 3 along the coast is much more fun and about 3 times the distance. If you have to drive the Nova Scotia highways, be sure to get off and see the sights. The highways seem to avoid all civilization and you will miss the best parts if you stay on them.
This strange pod on top of a tall steel frame turned out to be a fire tower. Unfortunately, they stopped letting people climb them last year so we had a nice shout with the fire ranger, he said the view was really nice.
