Thanks to Mike and the rest of the Delta Barrington staff.
Over the bridge to Darthmouth and on to the Marine drive - Route 7.
In Tangier, there are hundreds of these, Rosanne is finally getting weary of churches.
Today was a driving day.
Clear skies and open road.
We took a break at Sherbrooke Village, this building functioned as a jail until 1996. The last detainee is rumored to be a prominent politician, and is shrouded in secrecy (Bill Clinton ?).
The finest house in town. The village is impressive simply for the effort involved in restoring it. You can have a lot of fun just acting in period. I walked into the tailors and ordered a three piece suit, it will take 3 weeks to finish.
View out of the upstairs hallway of the Greenwood Cottage. The brochure said that if you found a game of croquet or horse shoes, to just join right in. This lawn made me want to set up a game myself.
We drove 200+ miles today through beautiful coastal landscapes. Marine Drive (route 7) is given the fewest pages in the Nova Scotia guide book. Perhaps this is a conspiracy by the residents. Not many commercial attractions, but plenty of exploring to do.
The driving was great, very light traffic and winding turns mixed with long straight-aways. Passing zones, although seldom needed, were always just around the corner. All of the car towing motor-homes (15+) were miraculously going the other way !

15 minutes latter the Country harbour ferry helped us out.
The view up Country Harbor from the ferry.
