We started the morining hunting for Jasper, Amethyst and Carnellian at this cove on the bay of fundy side of Long Island, a few miles from the Inn.
a few more stops and we are off to Yarmouth to catch the ferry back to Bar Harbor.
The fish in my dinner the previous night was delicious and had been smoked localy. We stoped by Vaughn Tidd's house and picked up three pounds to bring home !

This is a local picnic site, tea is served in the lighthouse. There is also a lot of local historical photos and information.
Two years ago, this was a run down looking house, for sale for $7500 Canadain. Rosanne and I tried to talk our friends into purchasing it. It has been fixed up and is now a simple place overlooking Gilbert cove.
Two years ago, we stoped at Edna's for a bag of the best ginger snaps. This time we bought plenty of cookies to take home. If you leave Yarmouth and are heading up 101, Take route 1 to Port Maitland just out of Yarmouth and visit Edna for some cookies !

We spend two more nights with our good friends Kim and Tom in Brooklyn Maine. I can't wait to play more pool !
